ANZAC DAY 25th APRIL

Room 11 talked about what ANZAC day is. We talked all about the soldiers, poppies, Anzac biscuits and how it was 100 years ago this year!  We also talked about where Gallipoli is and what a dawn service is. Come and ask us all about it!

Self Portraits

Vera brought in a chrysalis that was about to hatch! You could see the colours of the butterflies wings. It took all morning before it broke out of the chrysalis, it was very exciting! Then it took all day for the butterfly to dry out its wings! When it was ready it flew around the classroom. Lewis, Vera's brother, had to take it outside after school. Thanks Vera for this experience!
